This just happens to be my 100th post, but it falls on a devastating day for many Southerners. As I am writing this, Hurricane Gustav is over Houma, LA, where we used to live for over 16 years. We sold our home there only 18 months ago! We have so many friends in Houma, Thibodaux, New Orleans and down the coast and have been in touch with some of them and know they have moved to a safer place.
Please be in prayer for them physically, emotionally and that God will strengthen them spiritually during this time of devastation.
Love,

Congratulations on 100! I, too, am praying for the people of Houma, and Lafayette now as the rains come. Baton Rouge had sustained winds of hurricane strength. Goodness knows Louisiana has had their share of the weather. Blessings to you this Labor Day and 100th post day! Love, Annette
I cannot imagine living through one huricane, but to do it over and over again must be so very hard. I will keep your friends in prayer.
Thanks for the prayers and for coming over to my blog. We are already home.
