I'm not a member of Skywatch, but I love looking at the sky and cloud formations. Cathy is a member of skywatch and post pictures of the sky almost every week. While I was on vacation I saw some beautiful cloud formations, the moon, sunsets, sunrises (there were few of these - 'cause I was on vacation).

Here are two pictures that I took while on vacation.

This was taken in Cherbourg, France.

This was taken while driving out in the countryside near Reykjavik, Iceland.

No matter where we are in this world, we have an enormous God who is always present.

"I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from you Presense!

If I go up to heaven you are there.

If I go down to the grave you are there.

If I ride the wings of the morning;

If I dwell by the farthest oceans,

Even there your hand will guide me

and your strength will support me.

I could ask the darkness to hide me

and the light around me to become night --

but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.

To you, the night shines and bright as the day.

Darkness and light are the same to you."

Psalm 139:7-12

Isn't He just marvelous?

Member of Skywatch??? Me either, but I post sky pictures all the time.

I LOVE your pictures, and love even more seeing WHERE you were when you took them.

Yes, God is marvelous!! I love His creation! Those are such beautiful skies! Both of them. In the first one, the cloud formation looks like a big dove to me! Good job. You should really consider joining us at SkyWatch. It is so fun and you definitely have the knack for good sky pictures.

Beautiful pictures!!!
God is so good to allow us to enjoy and appreciate all His wonderful creations.
I sure enjoyed lunch. I can't wait until the Houston event where we can talk non-stop for two days. :)
I sent you an e-mail. Let me know what you think, ok?
Have a great weekend. Looks like the weather is going to be very nice.

Look at my post from last night to see a gorgeous sky God painted. We were coming back from our girls trip and I thought I had put the camera away for the trip until I saw the sky and couldn't resist. I was in the front seat on the east side and my girlfriend rolled down her back window so I could take it.
God is so good to delight us. I never want to take any of his marvelous works for granted.
Have a blessed week!
