Can you spell S-T-U-P-I-D??

Once in a while I do the most incredibly stupid things. I'm sure you are not guilty of this. ;)

Last night I decided it was time to go to bed, so I walked through the house making sure everything was "closed-up" and all the lights were off. I walked into the guest room to turn off a lamp and proceeded to exit the DARK room when suddenly the door jumped out and slapped me right in the middle of my forehead (well, almost in the middle). THIS TIME, :) I didn't see stars but I still ended up with an "egg" on my forehead.

I don't seem to have a problem with running into walls or other objects, but doors. . . . in the night . . . .? I don't know what my problem is but this was not the first time I've done it . Come to think of it, this has only happened in this house. Some of the doors do not stay wide open, they partially close. So maybe it's not all my fault.

Since I have shared my silly accident with you, I will have no shame and show you the results. Remember, I was ready for bed so -- no make-up. I sure hope it doesn't bruise! That could make it a little hard to cover up. Oh well!

OUCH, Sherry!!! That looks painful!

It's okay, though. I regularly trip over my own two feet (granted, they're pretty big...lol!).

Here's to quick healing!! Praying that if it does bruise, make-up will hide it ... but hey, I tell my boys - bruises add character! :)

Blessings to you today ~

Oh my GOODNESS! Prayers for your healing, for sure, are in order here, huh? I am pretty clumsy myself...in fact I have tumbled down the TWO steps into my garage from my kitchen at LEAST twice. Each time I manage to NOT break anything or sprain anything but boy howdy do I get sore! I hope you feel better soon...and that it doesn't bruise!

Oh Man! I hope it didn't turn purple! Although, purple is an Easter like color ;)

Take care of yourself and watch out for those doors!!
