I have joined, with probably most of you, in the LMP scripture memorization for 2009. I was late in getting mine up because of being out-0f-state and then the funeral.Here is my January 1 scripture choice and the deep desire of my heart. It is found in Philippians 3:10a AMP:
"For my determine purpose is that I may know Him -- that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly."

Mine is Psalm 139. I've been wanting to memorize that chapter for a while and it happens to have exactly 24 verses.
I was excited to see that so many are participating in this.

I am participating in the LPM scripture challenge, too. My verses for January 1st are Proverbs 4:20-27 from The Message translation.
I love the verse that you selected and that is one I would definitely like to commit to memory as well.
