. . . . being a grandparent!
Last week we took our granddaughter to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. She loves rides and trips with Grammie and PaPa. Here are a few pictures of our trip. She rode many more rides than I have shown below. She's such a good little girl which makes it a pleasure to take her places.
She's had the flu this week but is much better and getting back to normal.
The autumn decorations and fall colors were so pretty while we were there. It was cool but still very pleasant.
Our little "snow bunny" and scarecrows.
On the swing ride. She said that this was her favorite ride.
The elephant ride.
Taking a lunch break.
A huge cornucopia and our little doll.
Look at the smile on her face!
If it's fast and slings her around, she loves it.
A happy girl!
Playing her piano horn -- one of her souvenirs .
And a Happy Boo to you, little sweetheart!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful and loving family. To me, this is the true wealth in life! I hope that you, too, are blessed with this treaure called a loving family!
Love,
Sherry

Sherry, looks like y'all had a very fun time.
I know it's pretty in Branson this time of year.
One of the prettiest fall scenes I've ever seen was
a few years back when my mom and I were driving to Illinois and passed through Missouri. We spent the night and the next morning when we went to breakfast there was fog and the trees were amazing with the fog. Sadly this was before I got my camera.
I'm thankful too that you have such a wonderful family.
I know I do not take mine for granted.
Now, I just can't wait to be a grandma one of these days. :)
It looks gorgeous there with all the pumpkins! What a fun day for you guys! I wish we still lived close to my parents so they could do this with our kids!
Looks like such a fun trip. Hope to do that with my grandkids someday!
